Day 1 – Sunday, May 25
- 6:30 PM – Welcome Reception & Dinner
Day 2 – Monday, May 26
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast – Tour participants to enjoy breakfast on their own at the Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 8:45 AM – Meet in the hotel lobby
- 9:00 AM – Morning Tour – Guiding Architects of West Zürich where an industrial area Sulzer-Escher-Wyss has been transformed into a lively new mixed use urbanist community.
- 12:00 PM – Lunch at Resturant Markthalle – Im Viadukk
- 1:30 PM – Afternoon Tour – Continued walking tour of Transit Oriented Development surrounding new Zürich West Transit Hub
- 5:00 PM – Return to Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 7:30 PM – Dinner at the traditional Restaurant Zeughauskeller built in 1487. The name «Zeughaus» means an “arsenal storehouse” in which weapons and ammunition were stored and were also maintained there.
Day 3 – Tuesday, May 27
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast – Tour participants to enjoy breakfast on their own at the Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 8:45 AM – Meet in the hotel lobby to travel by bus to the Swiss Alps – Walking shoes required.
- 10:30 AM – Arrive in the Swiss Alps
- 12:00 PM – Lunch in the Swiss Alps
- 2:00 PM – Travel by bus to St. Gallen / Winterthur for afternoon tour
- 3:30 PM – Afternoon Tour – St. Gallen / Winterthur architectural site tour
- 6:30 PM – Return to Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 7:30 PM – Dinner at • • • Rooftop Restaurant
Day 4 – Wednesday, May 28
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast – Tour participants to enjoy breakfast on their own at the Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 8:45 AM – Meet in the hotel lobby
- 9:00 AM – Travel to ETH Zürich University
- 9:30 AM – Full Day Tour – ETH Zürich University lecture and lab tours of advanced construction technology
- Advanced Robotics Fabrication Lab
- Testing facilities for wood and concrete construction
- Campus heating and cooling optimization system
- 12:00 PM – Lunch to be served at ETH Zürich campus
- 4:00 PM – Return to Ruby Mimi Hotel
- 7:00 PM – Dinner Cruise on Lake Zurich with incredible views of the city, countryside and Swiss Alps
DELEGATE PACKAGE
- 3 full days of housing/development site tours and architectural walking tours
- Transit pass (we will utilize the city tram system) to visit transit-oriented developments in different parts of the city
- Tour Bus for Swiss Alps and site visit in St. Gallen
- 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 4 dinners, including a welcome dinner on the day of arrival and dinner on final night
- 4 nights’ accommodation at Ruby Mimi Hotel
SPOUSAL PACKAGE

- All other daytime housing tour activities and lunches will be restricted to fully registered delegates.
EXCLUSIONS (applicable to both Delegate and Spousal)
- Registration will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis up to a maximum of 20 members, with limited availability for the spousal package.
- Registrations are not considered final until the online form and payment has been completed.
- OHBA is not arranging airfare.
- OHBA recommends members book their own flights to arrive in Zürich by the afternoon of Sunday, May 25, to join the group for the welcome and orientation dinner that evening.
- Members should arrange their own departure from Zürich anytime on or after Thursday, May 29.
- Transportation to and from the airport is not included.
- OHBA cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to a pandemic or international security incidents.
